A struggling TV-News reporter is sent to Rhinebeck, NY to cover a story about a local hero cop. While shooting background footage, she and her crew accidentally discover a grizzly murder scene. Sensing a hot story, the reporter switches gears and begins a series of sensational broadcasts. Soon, other bodies are discovered and the small town cops are baffled. They have to find a deadly serial killer and contend with an opportunistic reporter.
